Spring 2019 Stewardship Work Parties

Looking for a volunteer opportunity that will make a positive impact on your local watershed? Consider joining us for one of these upcoming work parties.
We hosted two successful stewardship work parties in March at our Freeland Wetland Preserve. Thank you to our awesome volunteers!

Coming Up: Saturday, April 27, 2019 is an official Earth & Ocean Month work party event at the Freeland Wetland Preserve, from 10am – 12pm. (The event was previously scheduled to be at Robinson Beach but has been moved due to greater need at the Freeland Wetland Preserve.) Come help us plant and water native trees and shrubs, mulch, eliminate nettles, and maintain the trails – then, enjoy a hike around the wetland loop trail!

The Freeland Wetland Preserve is located on Newman Road just past Petosa Corner. You’ll see the sign and parking lot! You bring gloves, boots, a water-bottle, and dress for the weather – We’ll bring tools and show you what to do.
